“Six Years Running”
Overall: Incredibly fast and organized support, mixed with an ever updating platform allows us to automate where we didn’t know we’d be able to before.

Pros: SMRT brings dry cleaning and delivering a great experience to customers into the 21st century. For decades, our industry was underserved and with SMRT on the scene, we are equipped with the finest software to run a world-class organization.

Cons: I thought we needed an app to appeal to the newer generations. Actually, couldn’t be further from the truth. SMRT delivers in every aspect.

Reasons for Choosing SMRT Systems: SMRT was easily the best solution to grow our family-business into a multi-location powerhouse. We switched and never looked back.

“SMRT POS is Just Plain Smart”
Overall: In my opinion, a POS is only as good as the support team behind the software. The support team behind SMRT POS is knowledgeable, responsive, and friendly. Nearly all of my support requests are solved the same day, typically inside of 2 hours.

Pros: Bringing new team members up to speed is very easy and much faster than with any other POS we’ve used in the past. The layout and functionality of the software is intuitive so it’s easy for people who’ve never worked at a dry cleaners to learn their jobs quickly. Another feature I love is the reports or KPIs as they call them. I, and each of my team members, have access to the information we need to to provide our customers with the highest level of service. You can customize the reports available so that everyone sees the same reports, or you can customize down to the job role or even for each individual user. Probably the best, and most polished, function is the route module. It just plain works, and it’s been transformitive for our business.

Cons: When we signed on a year and a half ago, the software was still a bit raw. The support team has been fantastic, and the development team has been consistently fixing flaws and rolling out new features. Nearly all of my frustrations have been resolved.

“Review”
Overall: Overall I have been extremely happy and and the support staff has been great. My one recommendation would be around the onboarding. For the first two weeks during implementation we felt lost. We did not know what to expect until the system went live. We are now 1 month in and becoming very comfortable and making adjustments and fixing mistakes we made in the first couple of weeks. I feel much of that might have been avoided with a better training / onboarding process.

Pros: The automation is what is most beneficial for us. What ultimately made me choose this system was the integrated marketing.

Cons: This system does very well for dry clean customers and the wash dry fold customers from my laundromats. However, we also have several large Commercial clients that require a slightly different process.

Reasons for Choosing SMRT Systems: ultimately the switch was made because of the great trigger marketing that integrates with the customer database!

“This has been a nightmare”
Overall: Horrible experience

Pros: Basically the company installed the software and wouldn’t help with any pricing lists. Because the ulchsrges are basic upcharges that cannot be used for all items ,I am not able to use the system. I have tried over and over to get the technicians help me solve the matter all I get is the run around. Every month I am being billed for one hundred Nd fifty dollars for a system that isn’t even working for me.

Cons: Lucky fir me that my original software is still operating or i would have been in alot of trouble. I do not recommend this to anyone. Don’t believe that they are available to help you 24/7 once they got you hooked you are out of luck

“Thankful, Satisfied and Relieved to have joined with SMRT. “
Overall: 10/10. From start to finish I’ve been impressed with its capabilities and feature that will help streamline aspects of business as well as enhance customer experience. The introduction to SMRT by [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] really opened my eyes to what MY business needed and how well the SMRT system works. Quickly handing it off to [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] for a longer period of great training. Over a month [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] helped me get comfortable with things and show me the ropes. He settled many uncertainties and helped me shape the idea of the new operations of my business. He was always one email or call away- never skipped a beat. I am very thankful for his guidance through this process and would highly recommend SMRT to any dry cleaner I know because of the customer service I’ve received.

Pros: The feature and capabilities to enhance customer experience. The text program was much better than the competition. The training and introduction offered was and turned out to be excellent. The software puts the delivery company in charge. In my eyes this makes things easier and also helps allow more profit. SMRT seems to have everything you can think of to add to your dry cleaning business.

Cons: The format of writing a ticket and how layered in the settings are. I understand why SMRT doesn’t have customers fill out a ticket before we pick it up – it’s confusing and they don’t know the difference between specific items. I think the storefront POS should have a clearer way to check in each item while the customers wait. The “closing ticket” process seems extensive to me The notifications could be a little clearer and be suggestive of how you should act on the new item.

Reasons for Choosing SMRT Systems: [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] honestly helped me realise that you DO NOT need an “App” that the customers must download to ue your service. He showed me how SMRT can be integrated into your current website. From there i fell in love with all the features that not only helped your customers get what they wanted- but put you in charge of the operation. The customizations and preference options blow my mind. Also the training everyone else was offering was significantly less than what SMRT offered for onboarding new clients. Also from reviews i heard your customer service is second to none and i needed that assurance. With clean cloud for instance- they are based in the UK and i feel like if i was in a JAM that wouldnt help at all.

Reasons for Switching to SMRT Systems: Simply to bring our Mom and Pop dry cleaning business into the future of dry cleaning and laundry service. The pandemic took a lot of business away because of workers no longer coming to the office and all our large commercial accounts had a huge decrease. I decided to make the shift into reaidential laundry to add another branch to our existing business model.

“Wish I Found SMRT Earlier”
Overall: I’ve really only dealt with 3 people so far. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN]. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] was quick at replying to emails and very helpful in initial account creation. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] was extremely knowledgeable about industry, competing POS systems, and SMRT’s software and solutions offered. He had patience while I shopped around a tried to resolve issues with Enlite before finally pulling the plug. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] is the man with the plan. Once I got to know him a littler better he really began to shine. He is a problem solver that had a solution/answer to all my questions. Only a once or twice were there things completely out of his control or not in his power to change. He can get things right directly while speaking to him on the phone or 20 minutes hanging up after MAX. He knows the software inside and out and his ability to code is very valuable. He also introduced us to several different methods of taking orders, assembling, and racking we did not do before that are a real time saver.

Pros: Being able to call a real person if I am having a problem. Strong customer base. Taking customer feedback and creating updates that make system even easier/ more efficient. Highly reviewed software from dry cleaning peers. As a small plant with no delivery yet, SMRT’s systems will work for me now and as I continue to grow. Versatile software that isn’t tailored for “one type” of dry cleaner. Several different channels of communication possible with customers.

Cons: The interface is not as aesthetically pleasing as Enlite. Card processing terminal is archaic and lacks modern technology such as apple and android pay, contactless pay, and chip reading. Despite this, payments are accepted 100% of the time which is a relief after switching from Enlite. There is a notable learning curve for older employees due to the software’s complexity.

Phone support was usually helpful but sometimes would be left without response to email or call back for a few hours.

“Very happy we switched to SMRT. “
Overall: It has greatly improved our company. Most of our employees are cross trained and know how to mark in, assembly and deliver. It’s so simple to use. No one has just one job anymore. Support is super helpful and easy to reach. Accounts receivable is very clear and we now have counter employees handle when one person used to previously.

Pros: We are very happy we made the switch to SMRT. It is a simple easy platform to use and training employees. Assembly has been much more efficient and contacting the customers is very easy through the software. I like that it is browser based so I can login in whenever and where ever I need to. Set up is super easy and I am able to install myself instead of calling support.

Cons: Batch emails and texts. I wish I was able to email all customers a coupon or info about a new service from SMRT. I go through mail chimp to send batch emails.

Overall: I can’t believe we are running this system for over 4 years. Would be lost without it.
Pros: SMRT is intuitive like Apple products. It is worlds ahead of the other available products in the market. The most stable and easy to use platform. Highly recommend this company!

“Great Dry Cleaning system”
Overall: Overall experience has been positive. They move quickly to help on technical issues and rarely leave things undone.

Pros: I like the advances they have made in pick up and delivery as well as the ease of use for the client looking at our company.

Cons: There is a lack of ability to truly service in city buildings in a clean and functional manner on the route. SMRT system is able to be modified in so many ways that you may run into conflicting opinions on the best way to crack your specific nut. This ambiguity leads to confusion on implementation and training.

“Exceptional POS for Dry Cleaners!”
Overall: My overall experience with SMRT has been fantastic! They are a great partner to have in the dry cleaning industry.

Pros: What I like most about the software is it’s a very friendly user interface. The integration with our existing business was very easy. Training is fast and efficient!

Cons: In the beginning I did not like the terminals that were used. Shortly after we switched they moved to a computer based platform.

Overall: My experience has been overwhelmingly positive. Any time there was an issue that pertained to my store specifically. They made it happen. Example: My paper piece counts, the info and format that worked with my situation, they had customized it to my needs. There are many more of these. They have created a system that I feel was created for me. For that I am grateful.

“SMRT Is Genius!”
Overall: I love it! SMRT has created new enthusiasm in an traditionally boring industry. Did I mention how wonderful the customer support is?

Pros: This software does everything it promises and more. It has increased our customer engagement, increased sales, and reduced expenses by our drycleaning routes much more efficient.

Cons: Like learning all new systems, there is a learning curve. However, the learning curve with the SMRT software is as flat as can be.

“Flawless Execution, Easy To Learn & Use, Powerful Features, Outstanding Support”
Overall: Overall, it’s simply been outstanding, from the initial install, to the power of the software itself, to the support we receive whenever needed. It’s been a 5-star operation from the moment we came on board 4+ years ago.

Pros: The flawless execution. Nowadays, most software systems do almost everything you need them to. But it’s the execution that matters. A crude analogy would be how everyone was using Hotmail or Yahoo 20 years ago, and then Gmail came along and just did it right, so everyone switched. I used a legacy system (the largest in the industry) for 13 years before switching to this “upstart” back in 2017. The difference was immediate, obvious, and impactful for our operation. And that was back when they were an upstart, and the software was still in its relative infancy. They are now one of the dominant players in the market, and for good reason. The absolute best thing about this software, IMO, is the way customer communications are handled. It’s partly an email client, part text interface, and part slack, all tied into one, flawlessly. It’s never been so easy to communicate with customers, track interactions, and ensure issues are followed up with. Brilliant.

Cons: This is a tough question, as they keep improving. For years I had an issue with their promotions/coupons not being flexible enough, and that just changed – they made their promotions & coupons system one of the most powerful and flexible I’ve seen – just like everything else they have done.

Alternatives Considered: CleanCloud and Geelus

Reasons for Switching to SMRT Systems: At the time, SPOT had stopped innovating, and their software had started to lag behind my needs. Customer communication abilities were poor, invoicing customers was terrible, their driver app needed serious work. After being promised changes for years, I finally got frustrated and moved. It was a very difficult decision at the time, but the team at SMRT made it easy and as smooth a transition as possible.

“Modern Day Technology In A Dinosaur Industry”
Overall: Our overall experience has been great. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] in support are phenomenal.

Pros: SMRT Systems makes our diverse dry cleaning business simple to manage from one screen. Easy to setup and implement this is a no brainer for anyone needing a POS in our industry. The staff and especially the ambitious [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] are available post implementation to assist in making this product a custom solution for your business. Our two favorite aspects are the client communication and the pickup / delivery function. We love the ongoing updates and their willingness to listen to suggestions. For example, I once asked [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] to make a minor change that would switch all items racked to shelves as boxed items in the drivers mobile App, within 48 hours it was done! Well done SMRT, glad to be a part of this winning team.

Cons: As with any change, there are initial growing pains but nothing more than we expected. I do think the customer ‘portal’ does need to be App based at some point.

Overall: Overall a great experience. Interesting to see the evolution and customizing this great group of professional roll out to not only be uber competitive but to help us business owners perform at optimal outcomes.

Pros: The easy customizable features for specific data, data needed to pivot and make important decisions.

Cons: The accounting portion can be non user friendly with invoicing, itemizing and aligning with aging reports.

Overall: It’s been great! I highly recommend SMRT to anyone in the dry cleaning business to use this product.

Pros: The developers are always working to make the system work better. It already works great , but if there is something that you would like for it to do you can request it and it will probably get done. I also like that it is so easy to use. New associates can be up to speed in just a few days.

Cons: When to internet goes down, you are down.

“My Review”
Pros: SMRT is intuitive and has a clean look. The developers are continuously updating the platform and Support is quick and usually succinct.

Cons: The help menu is abysmal. Often times have to reach out to Support to answer same questions over and over again.

“7th Avenue Cleaners “
Overall: Ross was great getting us trained. We had a major issue with the credit cards not transferring over. Caused a lot of stress and took away from the ease of the transition. I think rewording some of the questions prior to going live, would ease some confusion we had regarding our delivery service. (master delivery location) We have been using SMRT for almost two months now, and support has been great. Hopefully that continues.

Pros: The ease of delivery. It is web based and not app based. Feel like more customer are inclined to log in through a link versus having to download an app. Barcoding system.

Cons: When something needs to be post spotted and you have already assembled, it splits the entire order. Can’t just take the item of that assembly number and leave the rest of the pieces there. Some of the reports are a little difficult, but support has been great when we have questions. When making a quick for a customer under the “other” option, we do not get two copies. We have to reprint one. It prints two under the “laundered shirt or household.” Thought an update would have happened by now.

Reasons for Switching to SMRT Systems: Customer support was horrible with SPOT. Wanted to move towards a more efficient way of tagging with the barcodes, and have the ability to text customers when orders were ready. Had two locations with two different systems and wanted to move to one system. Was not happy with either systems and their customer support.

“Best software for Dry Cleaning Industry.”
Overall: Before implementing SMRT, I hated coming into the plant seeing lots of finished products not assembled, items were double assembled from different satellite. Now my employees and I love the SMRT software. So far we cannot live without it. SMRT makes it simple handling multiple stores and route accounts simple.

Pros: SMRT POS software is easy to use and dummy proof. I started off using SPOT, then went to Starch up. By far hands down SMRT is the best software out there. Their demo process was detailed. They custom made my inputs and migrated all my customers data over. Any issues that arose, was probably one or two at the max. It was resolved in 10-15 minutes. “New POS after 10+ years with previous provider”
Overall: There were a few issues with the migration from our previous system, but overall it has been an improvement from our previous providers.

Pros: The ease of use and communication with customers are what I like most about SMRT.

Cons: There are certain elements that cannot be customized at this time. This forces you to find and integrate with a 3rd party system to accomplish some tasks.

Reasons for Switching to SMRT Systems: After SPOT was acquired by a private equity firm the level of quality and service steadily decreased. We tried to use ENLITE prior to switching to SMRT, but the system could not meet our needs. SMRT has met our needs in most categories. I hope they continue to push and innovate.

“Awesome software”
Overall: Transition from SPOT to SMRT was smooth. Support is very timely in responding to issues. I couldn’t ask for a better software partner for my business.

Pros: Super easy to use, lots of valuable features, very good support, route app is great, customer communication platform is the best!

Cons:  No software is perfect, including SMRT, but I really can’t think of any cons. Issues that we have are addressed immediately!

“Easy Transition”
Overall: A 10 out of 10. We have realized process improvements, increased communication from customers, and they have made it easier for new customers to sign up. They have automated the customer experience and made us look really good.

Pros: The support is off the charts. I was pleasantly surprised at the industry knowledge from the initial interview. the support team continues to over deliver on every promise, kudo’s.

Cons: About the only thing in transition that proved difficult was the adding descriptions on every item again. Looking back it was worth the effort.

“SMRT is awesome”
Overall: SMRT has revolutionized route management for me. It’s so much easier. I can monitor and make changes at any time. Credit cards are so much easier to manage (and safer). Billing customers is simple. My overall experience is 5 star. SMRT is an awesome company. Customer oriented. They respond to your needs quickly. This has been a game changer for us. 2020 with Covid 19 has been incredibly challenging and I was able to make route changes quickly and communicate those changes to customers very easily. This may have been the difference between surviving and failing early on in the pandemic. Using SMRT is one of the best decisions we have ever made.

Pros: SMRT is easy to use. The training was very helpful as the training staff was here all week to get us switched over from our old software and up and rolling. We can access customer support very easily. I love the route management. It is far superior to other dry cleaning software systems. Being able to text customers from their account is key. There is so much I love about SMRT. It’s helped us to run and manage our business. It’s given us tools we never had before.

Cons: There are a few features I’d like to see added. I’ve shared that with the SMRT team and I’m hopeful those features will be added.

“Best dry cleaning software on the market”

Pros: The software is so user friendly and powerful that my entire business runs on it. It is the complete CRM software, front to back. Not only is it easy for me to manage my business, but it is also even easier for my customers. They can do all the scheduling, communication on their own.

Cons: The only thing missing is SMRT does not have A mobile app.

“Took a chance and it’s changed my life.”
Overall: It’s so hard to write good reviews for products and services that you love. But when it comes to SMRT I could talk all day long. The business is run like a family and once we decided to chose there software it was like gaining a whole new team pushing our business to the next level.

Pros: Smrt allows you to follow real time the daily ins and outs of your business. I am able to physical leave my facility and check in remotely. This was a huge step in me being able to devote time with my family and given me back control over my business.

Cons: We signed up early so they needed to work on some things. We rolled with the punches and the people at smrt answered the bell.

Reasons for Choosing SMRT Systems: I’ve always focused on people and after talking with the people at SMRT there was not really another option. Not saying that the people at other companies are wrong you just need to get to know the SMRT team and you will understand 100%

“SMRT Systems Review”
Overall: I am very pleased with how the software is performing and the functionality. It has made communication with our customers more robust and streamlined. Issues I have posed to the company have been listened to and actual changes have taken place based on recommendations. I have Implemented around 15 different software products on a large scale in my career and I would have to say this was one of the best experiences so far.

Pros: Very easy to implement, train, customization for my business, ongoing product development, listen to the customers suggestions for improvements

Cons: Very minor data migration errors on go live. Need to be a little more diligent about reviewing imported data to make sure it is accurate and relevant.

“Second to none”
Overall: I have been able to control and manage my business with full confidence and transparency from afar. Furthermore, since using SMRT I have also integrated a pick-up and delivery service to our companies business model, I do not feel it would have been possible to grow so rapidly without the assistance of SMRT’s delivery module. Lastly, the ability to communicate with our customers automatically, instantly and intimately helps separate our business apart from the rest of our market. There literally is no downside to using SMRT Systems.

Pros: Having the ability to seamlessly run all facets of our operations under one user interface and the program is a game-changer. Not only does SMRT run our A/R, inventory, lot Management, delivery routes, customer promotions, communications, etc. It quite frankly is the easiest to use and train, which is priceless in our industry.

Cons: As with any transition or change, it takes time and a growing curve. However, this is not something uniquely individual to SMRT, just the nature of transitions software platforms. I have no cons when it comes to the daily use and function of SMRT (which speak volumes!).

“Amazing POS system”
Overall: Overall my experience has been amazing. I look forward to many many years of their service

Pros: The customer support is hands down the best. From the demo to the instillation and now use, the support team at SMRT have been there. This system compared to my last POS is 1000% better. Easier to operate, staff and customer friendly.

Cons: There is really nothing that I don’t like. The only issues that I had was when my data was merged from my other POS to SMRT. Some of the customer info was mixed around, but the staff at SMRT was there to make things correct.

“Outstanding”
Overall: Our internal company communications, automation with management reporting, billing and customer resolutions have been the biggest benefits with the software implementation. What took several emails, manual phone calls and meetings with our management are now easily reported across all communicaitons channels and have reduced the time to resolve day to day processes.
 
Pros: The installation, training, and implementations were a breeze. Using SMRT software for our operations has allowed us to implement, automate customer communications and improve our operations over night. We are upset at that fact that we didn’t switch over years ago. The training for our staff, drivers, markin, office, and production was incredibly easy. It has exceeded our expectations thus far.
 
Cons: There is not much negative to say. As we discover features we wish we had, their staff is attentive and responsible and always find a better way to resolve our operational issues.

“Easy transfer and start up”
Overall: My overall experience has been positive. The texting feature allows me to comunicate easily with my customers and has made my delivery service more efficient. Support is fast and usually solves your issues very quickly, either with email or on the phone.

Pros: This software is easy to learn. Training new employyes is easy. It is flexible and adapts well to the way you run your business. The ability to communicate with your customers through texting has been a big help. The support has been excellent.

Cons: I would like it if it printed tags for the lot system assembly operation. It is not a major problem but it would make it easier for my operation.

Reasons for Choosing SMRT Systems: SMRT seemed easier to learn, acheived the same results with less imput. Smrt seamed to do everthing SPOT did but the support was cheaper and the program was easier to use. I like the garment animation and the detail in the tailoring function. SMRT delivery app saves time and money.

Overall: My overall experience with SMRT has been great. The customer support and complete openness to look for and create new functions has made our everyday use easier. The ability to track garments, contact customers, track drivers, and option to make just about any kind of data report we request has been a life saver.
 
Pros: -The best features for us in my opinion are, the driver app and ability to track orders to the second they are delivered, the line of communication it has opened between us, and our customers. -The system is very user friendly and is far superior in the detailing function for our CSRs
 
Cons: -We are missing one feature, however, we understand that the function we need is specific to our business and will need to be created from the ground up, and is no easy task. We have have had constant contact with this matter, and know our request is being worked on. -The integration was not necessarily easy, but with the help of SMRT we have been able to cater the system to meet our unique needs

“Review for SMRT System – Clothesline Cleaners – Boise Idaho”
Overall: My overall experience with the new system has been good. I am still learning new information everyday. I need to come into the new way that this system does the information and so far it has been a challenge but not a bad experience.

Pros: What I liked most about this software is the easy of finding what I am looking for. Example – When looking at a customer file all the information is located right on the screen. I am still learning how to use this information as a bookkeeper. I also like that all the reports are in one location. I am also just learning how to use the reports for bookkeeping.

Cons: I can not at this time answer this question. I have only been using it less than 1 month. I am still learning all the new ways to get information for bookkeeping.

“Wish we made the switch sooner!”
Overall: We have improved garment tracking and communication internally and with customers. We are able to be really transparent. The customer interface is great. The team is great to work with! Our systems and processes are getting streamlined in a way we’ve been dreaming about for years, but had roadblocks with previous software.

Pros: So easy to use and setup. My staff basically trained themselves. When we do encounter a question or issue, customer support is super responsive and we have our needs met immediately. It’s a very intuitive system, easy to navigate and figure out even without a lot of training. One of the best things about it is the web based platform so that we can easily access the system from anywhere to help with training or trouble shooting even when not on site.

Cons: My only issues are tiny, nit-picky things with headings or section titles that don’t really change the overall function, just the look of things.

Pros: The migration to SMRT was validated and praised by both our multi-generation of employees and customers. Unlike many services where support diminishes after the honeymoon stage, the SMRT support team continues to be very responsive with great attitudes long after conversion . The Pick up and Delivery segment has allowed us to manage our clients efficiently and customize to their needs from scheduling, detailing, tracking, and modifying. Yes, we made a SMRT choice!

Cons: Marketing for customer reviews. Wished we knew this was slated to be released. We signed on with our marketing firm a year contract to solicit for reviews.

“So happy we went with SMRT”
Overall: Our previous Compassmax software was not adequately addressing our needs and we are overall quite happy with how well we have been able to improve the management of our business with a system that is easier to use .

Pros: SMRT has dramatically improved the management and efficiency of our business. We have specific needs catering to hotels for uniforms, staff clothing and guest clothing and we needed to streamline and better integrate our accounting and delivery processes. SMRT has enabled us to do this and helped us improve the quality and speed of our business where we need quick turnaround times. We also found that the software works seamlessly with our Metalprogetti conveyors.

Cons: Not a lot to complain about. We would like one or two minor accounting features added but those would be specific to our particular type of business.

Reasons for Choosing SMRT Systems: We found our existing software to be unnecessarily complex and even then it did not address our needs well. SMRT offered the best option.

“Duke’s Cleaners on SMRT”
Overall: When we switched to SMRT we didn’t have a route at all and now it is growing weekly. With the clients being able to setup a pickup/delivery right from their cell phone.

Pros: This is by far the easiest to use POS we have ever used. It has anything that you would want to run your Dry Cleaning business

Cons: It could be a little more marketing friendly.

“SMRT”
Overall: We have had nothing but a great experience with SMRT, from the hardware & staff. Support is very quick to respond. My prior system support was not as responsive and created frustration when we needed an issue/question addressed.

Pros: Software is extremely user friendly. Staff learned the system within 1 day. The system assists daily routines and has saved us time throughout the day. I like the fact that I can connect remotely and see what the next day is going to look like workload wise. The customer communication features are fantastic. Customers have enjoyed and found the feature extremely useful.

Cons: I am happy overall with the reporting function, but would like to see some of the reporting capabilities in planning move into production sooner. The reports I do have allow me to manage my business effectively, other reports would expand on that ability.

Reasons for Switching to SMRT Systems: MY prior system had thousands of bells & whistles some at an additional charge. Support was too slow in responding. The SMRT system gives me all the capabilities I used with my previous product, a few additional and a better price.

“SMRT really is SMRT!”
Overall: Since installation it has been a very positive experience. The customer service staff is fantastic and they answer your requests thoroughly and quickly. We just finished our first year and I was so excited to see our monthly sales comparisons now that we have a year of data. Then covid hit – now its hard to look but nothing lasts forever.

Pros: There are so many amazing features but what I love most is they will create whatever you need (within reason of course)

Cons: I wish there was a subscription feature but they have told me they are working on it. I do wish I could remove a credit that was misapplied.

Reasons for Choosing SMRT Systems: First, Customer Service – SMRT kept in touch! They checked in, answered questions and we did about 3 different demos. Second, Features – there are so many great reports and features. Communication with our customers has been a game changer in building trust with our new and long time customers.

“Game Changer”
Overall: I love the customer communication. Route tracking is top notch. Assembly conveyor is very reliable, cost effective and efficient. Customer billing is very simple to customize.

Pros: Easier to train new employees. The ability to create custom reporting. Positive customer feed back.

Cons: Hmm. Nothing comes to mind. I was actually surprised to find that SMRT has more good features that are “hidden”. I guess I would have to say that I would have like to know about these features sooner. Not really a compliant.

Reasons for Choosing SMRT Systems: They had other dry cleaners who made the switch and were very happy. Basically, I heard good things.

Reasons for Switching to SMRT Systems: We needed to change the way we serviced our customers. We wanted to offer next day delivery. To do this, we needed software that could allow management to easily track productivity at every step. This included customer communication. Our previous software was unable to do this.

“Review of SMRT Systems”
Overall: We find that the program is amazing in our day to day operations. Time saving. Overall extremely happy.

Pros: I especially like the ease of the barcoding system. It is easy to prove to clients when a garment was here. The assembling with barcodes takes out employee errors and reduces them to almost non existent. Routes are simplified. Easy to use, everything with one software.

Cons: Cannot mass email. Cannot change automated texts that are sent as reminders to clients.

“A Company That Cares”
Overall: Our experience has been fantastic. The big difference for me with SMRT was not that everything was perfect on day one, but that the company actually cares when I have an issue and helps me resolve it in a timely manner.

“Fantastic product!”
Overall: We have been very happy, overall, and would highly recommend this product to others in our industry.

Pros: SMRT has made our business much more efficient. We can collect and store a vast amount of information about our customers and their clothing. It is a very user friendly platform even though it is highly complex. The design features make it intuitive and training (as long as someone has a basic knowledge of touchscreens/computers) is fairly straightforward.

Cons: The frequent updates can take some adjustment time, but overall we understand are aimed at making the product better. There are so many features that is is difficult to master all of them, however, the fantastic customer support largely mitigates this issue.

“After trying out 5 others, SMRT is hands down the best!!”
Pros: The best feature that ALL other softwares lack, is the communication module between customers, CSR’s, and drivers.

Cons: Reports are a little tiny bit disappointing. While support can create any type of report you need, it would be nice to have them readily accesible to run with different criteria as needed.

Reasons for Choosing SMRT Systems: Before SMRT I had used others but they either lacked effective support or platform was outdated.

“SMRT computer systems”
Overall: Very appreciative that [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] moved us to the front of the line for installation and training on a Monday morning when we had a terminal server crash on the previous Friday. Then, he placed us with the best trainer ever, [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN].

Pros: Each station is stand alone and not dependent on a server network. All data is close at hand and easy to access in seconds or with a click or two.

Cons: Employee access should be asked more often at the stations. If the person who opens a station does not sign out then others can easily use that station all day under someone else’s ID. Many simple reports I had available from DCCS are nowhere to be found in SMRT. You could do better on canned reports for dry cleaners.

Reasons for Switching to SMRT Systems: Had to at the time, but we were planning on converting in the spring of 2021 anyway.
